Doesn't work yet

Rough edges & missing pieces before 1.0

  • WordPress Plugins & Themes Do Not Run: Daypress does not execute PHP. Only the supported plugins above have their data converted; WooCommerce, e-commerce, multisite, and WPML/Polylang are not supported.
  • Migration Visual Differences: Use the built-in Migration Fidelity Analyzer in /d-admin/import to preview your site's AST coverage score before importing. Pages relying on bespoke third-party Elementor add-ons or custom PHP theme templates may still need manual polish in Daystudio.
  • Code Signing & OS Distribution Packages: Prebuilt binaries and multi-arch GHCR Docker images (ghcr.io/trooper-lab/daypress) ship on every release, but native binaries are not code-signed yet (macOS Gatekeeper and Windows SmartScreen show an “unidentified developer” prompt on first run), and native .deb/.rpm/Homebrew formulas are planned.
  • English-Only Admin UI: The admin interface is currently English-only; internationalization (i18n) is planned.
  • No Benchmarks or External Audit Yet: We have not published a reproducible benchmark suite yet, and Daypress has not had an external security audit. See Security Policy to report vulnerabilities privately.
